Crispin Wizard is one of Deckard Wizard's brothers. He first appears in Donut and later appears throughout Bee and PuppyCat: Lazy in Space.

History

Crispin ran away from home after his family forgot about his twelfth birthday. He then joined a circus, where he fell in love with a clown aesthetic. At some point, he learned how to repair vehicles, and got his own garage on a boardwalk attached to the island. He's responsible for the clown decorations on Bee's motor bike.

Bee helped him move back home, at which time she revealed some of her robot parts to him so that he could see their different emotions. He may have been the first person to learn that she isn't human.

He and Bee dated before the events of the show.

Personality

Crispin is generally grumpy and antisocial, even towards people he cares about. He tends to be a bit paranoid, as evident when he hears an unrecognized sound and comes out of his bedroom wielding a knife. Also, when he loses sight of a mouse, and makes fearful guesses about where it went. He's sometimes quick to anger, but it's also directed toward himself in the form of harsh self-criticism. He's happiest when making "art," which is how he refers to his clown decorations.

He suffers from auditory hallucinations, perceiving a distorted voice from Bee's bike after he stubs his toe on it. This fact, combined with his paranoia and other mental issues, hints that he may have schizophrenia or a similar disorder.

Appearance

Crispin has dark green blue hair with light skin. In Donut he wears a ripped black sweater with a grey undershirt, black ripped pants, and mismatched socks.

He's friends with Bee, though it's apparent that he wants to be something more. Despite them having dated before, Bee doesn't express any romantic interest in him.

• Crispin may be named after Crispinophur a powerful wizard from the King's Quest franchise.
  • This goes along with the theme that all the Wizard family children are named after wizards.
  • This may also hint at Crispin's full first name being "Crispinophur" and "Crispin" just being a shortened nickname.
• It is revealed in a sticky note Natasha Allegri posted on her Instagram story that his birthday is on November 19th.^{[citation needed]}
