Howell Wizard is one of Deckard Wizard's older brothers. He first appears in Donut and later appears throughout Bee and PuppyCat: Lazy in Space.

Appearance

Howell has blue-green hair and light brown skin. In Donut, he appears in a pink robe with a small floral pattern lining the bottom.

Personality

Handsome and a bit flamboyant, Howell takes great pride in his appearance. Tragically, he seems to worry to the point of existential dread about any signs of aging. Something made much worse by the lack of business in their family’s cat cafe. Even more so when Bee was working there, due to her frequent shenanigans and habit of eating the food she was supposed to be serving.

Howell is very particular, but it’s likely because he is under a lot of stress trying to manage the cat cafe. Despite his best efforts, the cafe isn’t doing so well. But it’s hinted that underneath it all is both worry and care for his family and their business.

Relationships

Bee

The fact that Bee gave him his first wrinkle from stress, and then loudly called attention to it is one of many reasons for his slight grudge against her. But he lets it go easily, even when Bee orders one of everything on the menu and accidentally dines and dashes.

Puppycat

Puppycat is very protective of Bee. He sees Howell’s passive aggressive remarks as direct attacks on her. As a result he wants to fight Howell, even though Bee is technically in the wrong for the problems she caused while working at the cat cafe.

Cas Wizard

Cas is Howell's sister.

Deckard Wizard

Deckard is one of Howell's brothers. They worked together at the cat cafe. Although Deckard has a tendency to start fires while baking, he’s the best chef in the family and his food’s presentation was spectacular. Without him, Howell has to resort to covering all the menu items in a black sauce to mask how scary the food looks.

Merlin Wizard

Merlin is one of Howell's brothers. In an episode named " Cat Cafe" made in 1 BC Shows that Merlin used to work at the Cat cafe, he got fired for being too freaky.

Wesley Wizard

Wesley is one of Howell's brothers. When Deckard leaves for culinary school, Wesley takes over for him as the cat cafe’s chef. Howell can butt heads with Wesley over Wesley’s habit of using space in the cafe to care for stray fish. Howell would prefer Wesley to use his hobby to add fresh catches of fish to the menu to attract more customers, but ultimately lets Wesley continue.

Tim Wizard

Tim is one of Howell's brothers.

Crispin Wizard

Crispin is one of Howell's brothers.

• Howell drives a car-themed after the Cat Cafe as shown in concept art.
• Howell may be named after Howell Jenkins, sometimes spelled Howl, a wizard featured in many novels by Diana Wynne Jones.
  • This goes with the theme that all the Wizard family children are named after wizards.
• It is revealed in a sticky note Natasha posted on her Instagram story that his birthday falls on June 26th.
• In a fan's tweet on February 12th, 2023, it is revealed through a response letter from Natasha that Howell is, in fact, transgender. ^{[citation needed]}
