I read in a book that only a prince can wake up a sleeping princess. I thought if I helped you fall in love with Sticky, then I would be acting like a prince. Then. maybe my mom would wake up.
—Cardamon to PuppyCat

Violet is the mother of Cardamon, the childhood friend and former co-worker of the Space Outlaw, and the former landlord of Bee and The Wizard Family.

When Cardamon shares part of his wish donut with her, it glows and reveals that her insides look similar to Bee's, suggesting that she also has cybernetic enhancements.

Before she woke up near the end of "I Won't Leave You Alone", she was in a comatose state. She later goes back to stasis, this time, bringing her son with her, revealing that she was waiting for Bird's return.

She is a supporting character in Bee and PuppyCat.

History[]

Violet is an alien who's been friends with the Space Outlaw since their school days. She was the only one who stood up against their teacher when she bullied him. Both of them were outcasts on their school's planet, and ran away together after accidentally creating a spaceship with a magic ring and spinning top.

As adolescents, Violet and the Space Outlaw formed a candy-hunting team called "Team Puppycat." Their other three members were Bird as a baby, a cat-like creature, and a green alien. With their combined skill set and teamwork, they were far more successful than any other team they were competing against.

At some point after the Space Outlaw's transformation into PuppyCat, Violet's spaceship became grounded in the ocean of what's presumably Planet Earth (or else another planet populated by humans.) While adult Bird worked to fix the ship, people came to live on the new "island" and Violet became their landlord. Sometime later, she had Cardamon, and later still went into stasis with him for unknown reasons.

Appearance[]

As her name suggests she has violet hair and tan skin, indicating cardamon inherited his hair colour from her,her hair is a knee-length and wavy hair with bits of it sticking out.She also has long white feathered wings on the back of her head implying her species is presumably from an angelic race. Her eyes are yellow with purplish-pink pupils shaped like four-petaled flowers.

She wears a strapless,white,ankle-length dress. Her eye shadow and lipstick match her hair. Around her neck is a small glass bottle full of purple liquid attached to a string. Her fingernails and toenails are also painted lilac.

Cardamon has surrounded her with his colorful origami creations, including the crown on her head.

She has many cords leading toward her and monitors on the fingers of her left hand.

As a young adult, her hair was chin length. The wings on her head were much smaller at this age being on the sides of her head instead probably because as her hair grew it pushes her wings to the back. She wore an ultramarine leotard with a diamond cut out on the back mismatched tights and arm warmers. The left leg of her tights was blue, and the right leg pink. Alternatively, Her right arm warmer was green, and her left one yellow. She also wore a bottle with purple liquid back then, but instead of being on a string around her neck, it was attached to a chain that hung from her waist.

When she was a child, she wore a school uniform consisting of a dull lilac blouse with a white square shaped button and a pinafore, paired with knee-high white socks and black Mary Janes. This is the only age at which she's not depicted with her glass bottle.

Personality[]

Violet is bold, outspoken, and somewhat impulsive. She yelled at and knocked out her schoolteacher for bullying her friend: the yet-to-be Space Outlaw. She then ran away on a whim. Though she can be a bit rude at times, she's also loyal to and protective of those she cares about.

She dislikes jewelry, and hates feet.

She's very affectionate towards Cardamon, and also was toward Bird when he was a baby.

Relationships[]

Friends[]

Space Outlaw[]

She was his friend during their school days, likely his only friend. The two of them ran away together and eventually formed a candy-hunting team. The two of them have an antagonistic dynamic, often engaging in playful banter and lighthearted arguments. They remained close even after PuppyCat's transformation.

Bird[]

He was a part of Violet and the Space Outlaw's candy-hunting team as a baby. He invented weapons and tools to assist them. Violet found him adorable, and showered him with praise and affection. As adults, they're still friends. It's likely that Bird was the one responsible for Violet's cybernetic enhancements and stasis machine.

Bee[]

In Violet's house, there's a picture of Bee standing next to her and holding baby Cardamon. Not much is known about their connection to each other, except that Violet was Bee's former landlord before going into stasis.

Family[]

Cardamon[]

He's Violet's son, and took on her responsibilities as landlord after he woke up from his stasis prematurely. She's very caring and affectionate toward him.

Trivia[]

  • Her family's names are words relating to plants and the like. Her name, Violet, is a type of flower.
    • Meanwhile, her son's name, Cardamon, stands for the seeds of a type of plant from the ginger family which can be used as a spice or for medicinal purposes.
    • After Cardamon fed Viole part of the wish donut, she began crying magical tears which grow bizarre plants. The wish donut as stated by Moully need to be full for the wish to work, stating "it does weird things if you don't eat a good chunk". This is why Cardamon’s wish for her to wake up didn't work.
    • In "Funny Lying", Violet is shown to have a distaste for jewelry, reacting to an offer of a ring found by the Space Outlaw with "Ugh, jewlery."
