"Who Would Want This?" is the second episode of Bee and PuppyCat: Lazy in Space, preceded by Again For The First Time, and followed by What Do You Want to Be?

Overview

Bee and PuppyCat are excited to watch the Pretty Patrick Lunchtime marathon, but then the power goes out, and they have to find another place to watch it.

Synopsis

Cardamon wakes up next to his sleeping mother, and gets out of bed.

PuppyCat is flipping through TV channels to find something he wants to watch. He settles on Pretty Patrick Lunchtime, and then tells Bee that he wants to eat something while watching it. Bee goes into the bathroom, where she stores food in the toilet instead of a fridge. Water is continuously spilling out of said toilet, and she wonders aloud if it will ever stop leaking. She comes back with two yogurts, and PuppyCat launches his yogurt cup into the air. It lands on the button of a remote in her storage loft, which causes an error in the ship beneath the island. The ship has to draw from the island's power supply, causing a blackout.

Cardamon is walking through the neighborhood when two puppies catch his attention. Sticky then appears over the hilltop, and Cardamon believes that she's royalty. He allows her to come with him to work. He then goes to the Wizards' apartment to collect their rent, and Cas informs him that she's been hearing something in the walls. He goes and hits the wall with his toy hammer, and a body-shaped crack appears in it. Toast then bursts out of the wall and asks Cas to return with her to their old wrestling cult, prompting Cas to tell Deckard the story of how they met there. After they kick her out of the house, Toast promises aloud to make sure Cas will never be rid of her.

Cardamon moves on to Bee's apartment. Sticky starts being affectionate toward PuppyCat, and Cardamon tells Bee that she can keep her "pet" if she betroths him to Sticky. He then sees the leaking toilet, and says he needs room to work so he can fix it. Bee and PuppyCat leave, and and up going to Temp Space so they can earn rent money to pay Cardamon. As they do several jobs, giant hands keep appearing in the background, unbeknownst to Bee. After completing their work, they return to the apartment and Bee pays her rent to Cardamon, who leaves to get supplies for fixing her toilet. With the power still out, it occurs to Bee then that Temp Bot is a giant TV, and she suggests that they watch the marathon on her. However, when Bee makes this request of Temp Bot, she gets offended and gives them yet another job out of spite.

Bee and Puppycat end up on Cat Head Planet, where they enter a spa full of giant cats. They all see Bee as a cute pet, and fawn over her, taking her to their TV so she can watch the marathon. PuppyCat, on the other hand, is ignored. Whilst eating in front of the TV, Bee drops some food on her uniform, and the cats try to give her a bath. She resists due to her fear of water, and at this moment the giant hands finally catch up to them. Bee and PuppyCat manage to escape, and teleport back to their apartment.

Cardamon, having restored the power and fixed Bee's toilet, brings his mother a plate of gummies. He seems confused as to why she's still asleep, and lies down next to her.
